Who are you?
We are the Pedal Wagon! Known as a multi-passenger, pedal-powered, rolling celebration that connects family, friends, and even strangers as they uncover each city’s rich history, best-kept secret establishments, historic districts, breweries, and much more! We currently role in four cities; Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton, OH and Covington, Kentucky.
What do you do?
The Pedal Wagon offers a variety of rides for each city’s residents and visiting tourists to enjoy. In Dayton, we primarily pedal around the Downtown and Oregon Districts, and can even reach St Anne’s Hill, Huffman Historic District and Brown Street near the University of Dayton. We give 2-hour rides that revolve around visiting bars and restaurants for pub-crawls, food tastings, and popular landmarks, parks, and local murals for picturesque photos! While we are mostly known for our adult and alcohol rides, we are kid and family friendly too! Most folks ride us as a reason to celebrate; whether a job promotion, graduation, birthday, upcoming wedding, bachelorette/bachelor parties, corporate outing, team building exercise or just for fun!
What makes your business special?
We are one of the only businesses of our kind in the United States that allows kids onboard! Our pedal industry is predominately known as an alcohol party experience, however we allow our guests to create their own experience, and try our best to include everyone! We can do kid-friendly birthday parties, grade school & high school field trips, and family reunions! Whatever the group or the reason, we go above and beyond to make it work for the customer.
What do you love about Dayton?
Honestly; everything. This is our third season rolling in the Downtown area, and we couldn’t have asked for a better reception from the City, the local police and government, the residents, our customers, and the businesses we partner with. If we had to pick one thing we love the most about Dayton; it would be the people. #daytonstrong
